august 2026 Yoga and hiking retreat in the heart of the Alps in Bessans
Translated from French
A wonderful experience of disconnecting, with a room overlooking the glacier and a great atmosphere. I did the yoga and hiking retreat. Things I wish I had known before booking: 1. The average age is around 60+. 2. The hikes are in the afternoon, and there are no full-day excursions. 3. The yoga level is beginner-level over 3 hours, with a maximum of 1 hour and 15 minutes of actual practice (1 hour of introduction, 1 hour of meditation). 4. There is no prior assessment of fitness level or health. The "cozy" and "fun" hiking groups are formed based on the participants. 5. The buffet is very good for the price. However, the staff is not very receptive (and sometimes unpleasant) to dietary restrictions.
