The ski slopes are just 100 meters away, and the nearest restaurants and shops are also within easy walking distance. Amenities include Wi-Fi (for a fee) and an elevator. From Moûtiers train station to the Altineige Residence:

  1. By bus/shuttle: The regular Cars Région Savoie/Altibus line (Moûtiers – Val Thorens route) provides direct connections from the Moûtiers bus station to the Val Thorens bus station in approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. A one-way adult fare costs approximately €12 to €15.
  2. On foot from Val Thorens bus station: The Altineige Residence is located on Place des Arolles, just opposite the bus station (allow only 1 to 2 minutes walk).
  3. By taxi/private hire vehicle: Allow approximately 45 to 55 minutes for the journey uphill from Moûtiers train station. Fares are generally between €90 and €140 during the day (higher fares at night, on Sundays, or in adverse weather conditions).
Access by car
Travel to the place of stay with parking available
  1. From Paris (approximately 6 hours 30 minutes to 6 hours 45 minutes by car - approx. 660 km): Take the A6 motorway towards Lyon, then the A43 and the A430 to Albertville. Continue on the RN90 expressway to Moûtiers, then take the D117 which leads directly up to Val Thorens.
  2. From Lyon (approximately 2h30 to 2h45 drive - approx. 200 km): Take the A43 motorway towards Chambéry / Albertville, then the A430 to Albertville. Follow the RN90 to Moûtiers, then the D117 to the resort.
