The Résidence Joker apartment complex is located near the entrance to Val Thorens, just a few meters from the slopes. Shops and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. Paid parking spaces are located approximately 300 meters from the accommodation (public parking, reservation required, see "Important Information"). Meals are not provided.

From Moûtiers train station to the Joker Residence (Arolles district / rue de l'Aiguille):

  1. By bus/shuttle: The regular Cars Région Savoie/Altibus line directly connects the Moûtiers bus station to the Val Thorens bus station (Place des Arolles) in approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. A one-way ticket costs between €12 and €15 per adult.
  2. On foot from Val Thorens bus station: Résidence Joker is located at the entrance to the resort in the Arolles district, just a 2 to 3 minute walk (approximately 150 to 200 meters) from the bus station.
  3. By taxi/private hire vehicle: Allow approximately 45 to 55 minutes for the journey from Moûtiers train station to the residence. Typical fares range from €90 to €140 during the day (higher fares apply at night, on weekends, or in case of bad weather).

  1. From Paris (approximately 6 hours 30 minutes to 6 hours 45 minutes by car - approx. 660 km): Take the A6 motorway towards Lyon, then the A43 and the A430 to Albertville. Continue on the RN90 expressway to Moûtiers, then take the D117 which leads up to Val Thorens.
  2. From Lyon (approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to 2 hours 45 minutes by car - approx. 200 km): Take the A43 motorway towards Chambéry/Albertville, then the A430 to Albertville. Continue on the RN90 to Moûtiers, then follow the D117 to the resort.
