The Le Grand Chalet residence is located in the center of Brides-les-Bains, approximately 200 meters from the Olympe gondola lift and close to the nearest shopping centers. Access from the train station to the residence:

  1. On foot: Not recommended with luggage (approximately 6 km along the valley road, i.e. 1h15 to 1h30 walk).
  2. By bus/shuttle: Take the regular Cars Région Savoie bus lines (lines S64 or S65 departing from the Moûtiers bus station) or the spa shuttles during the season. The journey takes between 10 and 15 minutes. Expect to pay around €3.30 to €5 per trip.
  3. By taxi/private hire vehicle: Taxis are available in front of Moûtiers train station. The journey takes 10 to 15 minutes. Expect to pay between €20 and €40 per fare during the day (prices may be higher on weekends, at night, or depending on the number of passengers/luggage).
Access by car
Travel to the place of stay with parking available
  1. From Paris (approximately 6 to 6.5 hours by car / 630 km): Take the A6 motorway towards Lyon, then join the A43 towards Chambéry and Albertville. Continue on the A430 and then on the N90 (dual carriageway) to Moûtiers. Then take the exit towards Brides-les-Bains via the D915.
  2. From Lyon (approximately 2 to 2.25 hours by car / 180 km): Take the A43 motorway towards Chambéry, continue towards Albertville (A430), then take the N90 to Moûtiers and the D915 to Brides-les-Bains. (Reminder: during the winter period from November 1st to March 31st, the Mountain Law requires specific equipment: approved all-season/winter tires or snow chains/snow socks in the trunk).
