Meet in the morning at the Volvic gîte to meet the guide and the group. After a general briefing, we set off on a gradual loop to ease into the activity. The route winds around the Château de Tournoël, follows the Volvic springs, crosses the Plateau des Dômes, and then descends into the Enval gorges.

Back at the gîte in the late afternoon, we enjoyed conversation and a tasting of local products. In the evening, a short walk took us to a viewpoint perfect for admiring the sunset over the Chaîne des Puys, before a traditional dinner in Tournoël and an overnight stay at the gîte.
