12pm – 5pm: We begin this trail run around the Beaufortain region, starting from its namesake village: Beaufort. The first climb towards the Outray mountain will be an opportunity to discuss the greatest treasures of the Beaufortain: its cows, its alpine pastures, and of course, its cheese. We will also discuss techniques for optimizing performance and conserving energy on the climbs, before descending towards La Gittaz, to a typical mountain refuge nestled amidst these picturesque alpine meadows.

We will collect our belongings for the night.
