    In the morning, a short domestic flight, skirting the Himalayas including Mount Everest, takes you to Bhadrapur. This is the flat region of Nepal, not far from the Indian border. On foot, or using local transport, explore the Terai (Nepal's agricultural heartland). Discover the tea plantations of the plains. Lunch is near the Indian border, in a bombubus grove overlooking the Mechi River, which separates India and Nepal. Return to your homestay. Arrival in Laxmipur where you will spend the night.
