I am very disappointed with the organization of the last few days. The flight was canceled, and the agency asked us to pay for a helicopter to take us back to Kathmandu: $375. We refused. We had to walk back down and take a jeep on winding roads in the middle of the night in terrible weather for 17 hours! I am therefore expecting a refund from Decathlon for the hotel night on Thursday and the Lukla-Ramechap flight that we were unable to take. Furthermore, the guide constantly complained about the local agency every day, telling us that he didn't have enough budget for drinks and food, and our consumption was cut back. He also mentioned that he and the porters were underpaid. We wonder where our money is going?
