However, Bertrand, our guide, adapted perfectly, transforming the trip into hikes using crampons. Thanks to this solution, we were able to explore snowy terrain and fully enjoy the outings. In the end, the experience was just as successful and interesting as snowshoeing. The quality of the guiding, the adaptability, and the safety measures greatly contributed to the trip's sporting success. As for the food, it was flawless: 10/10. The meals were excellent throughout the stay, and the New Year's Eve dinner was remarkable, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant, both in terms of quality and presentation. The major drawback, however, concerned the accommodation. It wasn't a hotel, but a holiday camp-style building, clearly unsuitable for adults. The beds, comparable to those used for school trips or ski trips, did not offer sufficient comfort. The direct consequence was disrupted sleep, difficult recovery, and significant fatigue, which negatively impacted the overall experience. In short, a very successful trip from a sporting and culinary perspective, enhanced by excellent guidance, but hampered by unsuitable accommodations—a crucial point to improve for a trip of this caliber.
