Following the success of our 5-star "Hiking and Doga in the Gard with your dog" stay, discover four days of escape on the magnificent Côtes d'Armor, in northern Brittany. In comfortable cottages with a seaside charm and surrounded by breathtaking scenery, treat yourself to a rejuvenating break where your dog becomes your partner in well-being.
For four days, alternate between relaxation, hiking, Doga, and bonding . Doga, a discipline born in New York combining yoga, massage, and sharing, strengthens your bond with your dog and reconnects you to nature and the present moment.
On Day 2 , enjoy a unique human-dog team massage , an unprecedented moment of relaxation and bonding.
On Day 3 , relax at the cottage spa with jacuzzi and sauna , after experiencing a dog-friendly crossing to the island of Bréhat , for a spectacular exploration of the island and its seascapes.

Our dog-friendly trips are designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of your fitness level. No prior experience is necessary to practice Doga: it's a gentle activity that works your muscles deeply while strengthening the bond with your dog through simple postures, massages, and moments of relaxation. The hikes we offer are just as inclusive. The longest is no more than 10 km, with very little elevation gain, allowing you to fully enjoy the magnificent landscapes of the Cévennes without physical exertion. Whether you're a beginner hiker or simply looking for a soothing activity to share with your dog, our trips adapt to your pace. What do you really need? A mat (which will be provided), a desire to reconnect with nature, and a good dose of kindness towards yourself and your best friend.

Having graduated from Sciences Po Paris, I quickly realized that I preferred downward-facing dogs to election campaigns.

Welcoming the participants.
Arrival must be at exactly 4pm , neither before nor after, so that the meeting between the dogs can take place in motion , under the best conditions.
If you arrive slightly early, take the opportunity to take a short walk around the area: this will allow your dog to relax after the journey without encountering other dogs prematurely.
4:15 PM — Departure for the welcome walk
We all set off together for a lovely hike of about 7 km round trip, towards Plouha beach .
Objective: to create a first natural contact between the dogs, to allow each one to introduce themselves in a positive context, to breathe the fresh Breton air and to discover the magnificent coastline.
5:30 p.m. — Doga session at the beach
Weather and tides permitting, we will take advantage of the exceptional setting for an introduction to Doga , a gentle session that strengthens the human-dog bond while providing relaxation and grounding after the journey.
A wellness break that benefits everyone.
6:30 PM — Return to accommodation and settling in
Free time to settle in comfortably, give the kids a drink, relax, and enjoy the surroundings.
7:00 PM — Welcome drinks
A friendly moment to officially launch the stay: presentation of the program, exchanges, answers to questions and a warm atmosphere to begin the adventure under the best auspices.

Hiking on the GR34 & Breton evening

8:30 a.m. — Breakfast
We start the day gently with a good breakfast to gather strength before the day's outing.
9:30 a.m. — Departure for the hike on the GR34
Heading towards the legendary GR34 , the customs officers' path which runs along the entire Breton coastline.
We set off on a superb hike of approximately 10 km , with stunning views of the sea, steep cliffs, the salty air and the raw landscapes that make up all the charm of the Breton coastline.
The route will take us to Pointe de la Tour , passing by the magnificent Plage Bonaparte , a site steeped in history and of remarkable beauty.
12:30 — Picnic by the sea
Refreshment break in a magical setting: a simple, friendly moment, with eyes on the blue.
4:00 PM — Return to the cottages & Doga in the garden
Back at the accommodation, some quiet time is planned to relax before a Doga session in the garden , surrounded by nature. This moment strengthens the bond with your dog while stretching your body after the hike.
5:00 PM — Human-dog massage (30 minutes)
Each human-dog pair will benefit from a unique shared massage , a moment of well-being unlike anything else in France! An experience of relaxation and deep connection, combining relaxation and gentle interactions with your companion.
7:30 pm — Galette & Crêpe Evening
It is impossible to visit Brittany without this typical dinner: a warm evening around galettes, crepes and local traditions , perfect for ending the day.
Day 2 -
Bréhat Island & Wellness Evening

We start the day calmly with a good breakfast to gather strength before this beautiful island adventure.
9:30 am – Departure for the pier
Head towards Pointe de l'Arcouest to board the dog friendly boat .
The crossing lasts approximately 10 minutes , perfect for a first experience at sea for some dogs: short, gentle, but a change of scenery.
10:00 AM – Arrival on the Île de Bréhat & Start of the hike
Bréhat, nicknamed the Island of Flowers , offers a very different landscape from the mainland:
– bright colors,
– small, flower-filled alleyways,
– breathtaking views,
– a peaceful and timeless atmosphere.
We will go around the island , which is about 8 to 10 km depending on the exact route and the tides.
The pace will remain suitable for both humans and dogs.
12:30 – Picnic on the island
Lunch break in an idyllic setting, facing the sea or nestled in a wild corner depending on the weather and the number of people.
3:30 PM – Return by boat
Return crossing then road to the gîte.
Around 5pm – Return to the guesthouse & Doga
A calm and intimate moment in the garden to reconnect with your dog after this day full of discoveries.
6:30 PM – Spa Time (for humans)
While the dogs rest, it's time for a real moment of relaxation:
– access to the jacuzzi ,
– sauna ,
– a wellness break to release all tension.
A perfect moment to chat, laugh, and enjoy the calm before the evening.

Day 3 -

We start this last day with a good breakfast to recharge our energy before the final hike.
9:00 am – Hike on the GR34 – towards Pointe de Plouha
Departure for a final stroll along the legendary GR34 , the customs officers' path.
This time, we will head towards Pointe de Plouha , an iconic site with plunging views of the sea and the highest cliffs in Brittany.
Approximately 7 km of hiking to enjoy these iodine-rich landscapes one last time and allow the dogs to expend some energy before departure.
11:30 am – Doga Session
Back to the cottage for a final doga session, a sweet and intimate moment to end the stay in harmony with your dogs.
12:30 PM – Lunch & weekend debriefing
A final meal shared to revisit the highlights of the stay, exchange impressions, memories and laughter, and immortalize this beautiful Breton interlude.
2:00 PM – Departure
It will already be time to say goodbye… but with heads full of memories and, for the dogs, a good dose of adventures to tell!

The Gîtes du Goëllo have been carefully renovated, preserving all the charm of Breton architecture while offering the comfort and modern amenities necessary for a pleasant stay. Located in a peaceful hamlet, the complex offers several very comfortable cottages, tastefully decorated and with bedrooms equipped with queen-size or king-size beds, depending on the accommodation.
Each cottage also has its own garden and terrace, offering an ideal setting for relaxing in nature. Just a few minutes from the sea, it's a place conducive to peace, rejuvenation, and conviviality.

🚗 From Saint-Brieuc : take the N12 towards Guingamp/Brest. Exit at Lanvollon and then follow the D6 to Lanvollon. Go through Lanvollon and continue on the D9 towards Plouha. Follow the signs for Plouha and then for Gîtes du Goëlo.
🚗 From Paimpol : take the D789 towards Plouézec. Then continue towards Plouha, following the coast or inland via the D7. Once in Plouha, easily reach the Gîtes du Goëlo by following the local signs.
🚗 From Guingamp : take the D6 towards Lanvollon. In Lanvollon, follow the D9 towards Plouha. Continue to the Gîtes du Goëlo.

Paimpol train station is served in particular from Guingamp (TER line). It is located approximately 20 to 25 minutes from the Gîtes du Goëlo.
