In a few words

Five days of challenging trail running in the heart of the Beaufortain massif , on a loop route that combines panoramic ridges , high mountain passes , and mountain huts . Starting from Beaufort, each stage reveals a new facet of this wild territory: deep forests , unspoiled alpine pastures , hanging lakes , and rocky landscapes , always with Mont Blanc as a backdrop . The route, demanding yet not inaccessible, is designed for trail runners seeking an authentic and immersive mountain experience . Evenings spent in the mountain huts offer opportunities for sharing and recovery in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A highlight of this sporting journey is the circuit around the Pierra Menta , an iconic peak of the massif, and, for the most experienced runners, the ascent of the Grand Mont . The expert's opinion

  1. You are able to run or walk 6 to 8 hours a day, several days in a row.
  2. The stages accumulate between 1000 and 2100 m of positive elevation gain, on high-altitude trails that are sometimes steep or rocky.
  3. The carrying load remains light: you only carry your day's belongings, meals and nights are provided in the refuge.
  4. You should already have a good experience with trail running or mountain hiking, but you don't need to be a competitor.
  5. You progress in a group, at your own pace, in a spirit of mutual support and shared achievement, facing Mont Blanc and the Pierra Menta.

Jocelyn

As a mountain guide and ecologist by training, I experience the mountains as a true adventure. A passionate trail runner, I love following ridges, connecting valleys, and feeling the freedom of movement at altitude. Bivouacking is central to my practice: sleeping outdoors, living in harmony with nature, and extending the immersion.

Each outing becomes a human adventure, a space for shared learning and wonder.
