SILVIA SANTOS

Born and raised in Bilbao , Silvia worked as a mountain guide in the Himalayas for several years before dedicating herself to the Camino de Santiago. It was only when she walked the Camino herself for the first time that she understood why thousands of people from Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and elsewhere undertake this pilgrimage every year.

When she walked the entire French Way , it took her three months. Passionate about the Camino, she wanted to learn all its legends and stories. She stopped in almost every bar along the way to chat with locals and fellow pilgrims.

Today, she lives in Galicia and has been working for 6 years as a beloved guide for us.

FRANCISCO ALVAREZ

Born in Barcelona , Francisco settled in Ponferrada , a city located directly on the French Way, at a young age, which allowed him to become very familiar with the Camino. He made his first pilgrimage to Santiago in his twenties, and then began to travel to the four corners of the world.

Fran, as he prefers to be called, has lived in California, India, the Philippines, Thailand, and Laos, where he discovered his great talent as a tour guide . When he decided to return to Spain, he had a very clear idea of what he wanted to do: he wanted to introduce people to the Camino as a guide, and he has been doing this job for 7 years now.
