Day three begins with a relaxed morning dedicated to some light theory, building on everything you learned yesterday. Your instructors will guide you through the essentials of buoyancy control, relaxation, and freediving safety habits—simple, practical knowledge that prepares you for your first real steps in the ocean. The goal isn't to overwhelm you with information, but to help you feel calm, confident, and ready.
After the theory session, it's time for the moment everyone is eagerly awaiting: your first practical session in a natural environment.
You'll walk just a few meters from the center to the sheltered Tabaiba Bay, a calm and welcoming spot, ideal for beginners. The water there is clear, calm, and deep enough for exploration while remaining close to the shore.
During this first session at sea, you will practice:
- Floating and relaxing on the surface
- Breathing and preparation techniques
- Balancing in real-world conditions
- Your first attempts at submersion below the surface
Everything unfolds slowly, step by step, with your instructors right by your side. There's no pressure to go deep—the focus is on comfort, enjoyment, and discovering the peaceful feeling the ocean provides when you move with ease.
At the end of the session, you will have made your first real freediving dives in the Atlance sport.
