Departure towards the kennel. There, you'll meet a passionate musher and his huskies, ready to take you on a unique experience. You'll be introduced to driving a dog sled , then set off on a 10 km (2 people per sled) dog sledding excursion through the snow-covered forest and across frozen lakes. After this thrilling adventure, the musher will explain the sled dog breeding methods around a crackling fire. To warm you up, a hot drink and some Finnish biscuits will be served.

In the afternoon , for ski enthusiasts, a ski bus regularly stops in front of the Hotel Ylläsrinne to take you to the Ylläs alpine ski resort, located just 4 kilometers away (additional charge applies). With its 63 downhill ski runs and 53 km of slopes, Ylläs will delight skiers of all levels. The most experienced can tackle Finland's longest run (3 km), while freestyle enthusiasts will find their paradise in the resort's snow parks!

At the end of the day, relax in the hotel sauna, an unmissable part of Finnish culture (free access).

The morning begins with an introduction to snowmobile driving . Once ready, you will set off on a 50-kilometer snowmobile safari (2 people per snowmobile), heading towards the magical ice village: the SnowVillage of Lainio.

The SnowVillage, entirely sculpted from snow and ice, is an ephemeral masterpiece . Each year, an artistic theme inspired by nature, mythology, or popular culture comes to life through impressive sculptures. The interplay of light and the fascinating details of the artworks create a magical atmosphere that will transport you to another world.

After this icy immersion, you will enjoy a well-deserved lunch in the warm restaurant adjoining the SnowVillage.

In the afternoon, you will return to the hotel by snowmobile.

To end the day, enjoy a well-deserved moment of relaxation in the hotel sauna before dinner.

You will be equipped with a special suit, designed to keep you warm and allow you to float safely in the icy water. Even at 0 degrees Celsius, you will be comfortably insulated from the cold and can fully enjoy the sensation of floating, suspended between sky and ice . Let yourself be carried by the water, cradled by the silence and tranquility of this extraordinary environment. The contrast between the outside cold and the warmth of the suit will offer unexpected sensations and a truly memorable experience. After this immersion, you will be invited to warm up with a hot drink and biscuits, comfortably settled by a fireplace in a wooden chalet, a true haven in the snow.

For lunch, enjoy a convivial moment grilling sausages around a wood fire under a traditional kota. This tipi, a symbol of the Sami people, immerses you in their history and way of life, lived in perfect harmony with nature. The kota was once a sacred place, dedicated to shamanic rites and community gatherings.

Explore the wilderness with the traditional method of forest skiing . "Forest skiing," also known as "ski-snowshoeing," is a unique activity that combines the advantages of snowshoeing and cross-country skiing . The skis used are short (between 1.25 and 1.45 meters) and wide. They facilitate uphill travel and allow for faster progress than snowshoes on flat terrain. On gentle descents, you can even glide, although these skis are not designed for downhill skiing or steep slopes. Equipped in this way, you will blaze your own trail across frozen lakes to the deep snow of the forest. This will be an opportunity to fully immerse yourself in Lappish nature, learning to identify animal tracks and discovering the local flora and fauna, accompanied by your guide. Breaks with hot drinks will keep you warm throughout the excursion.

Those who wish can venture into the deep snow for an even more immersive experience in Lappish nature. Along the way, you'll stop at a frozen marsh for a cozy moment around a campfire. You'll learn how to light a fire in these winter conditions and enjoy a delicious break with a hot drink, some biscuits, and marshmallows toasted over the embers.

This morning, immerse yourself in Sami culture with a visit to a traditional reindeer farm . Alongside a passionate herder, discover the reindeer's way of life, their essential role in Sami culture, and the secrets of their husbandry. Then, settle comfortably aboard a reindeer-drawn sleigh and glide through the snowy landscapes for a peaceful 2 km ride at the pace of these iconic animals (2 people per sleigh).

At lunchtime, you will enjoy a picnic meal at the farm.
