Authentic Lapland: Beyond the Arctic Circle

The Harriniva Adventure Resort is located 80 km from Kittilä, in Finnish Lapland, 3 km south of the village of Muonio, on the banks of the Muonionjoki River and near Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Neighboring Sweden lies across the river and is easily accessible on foot.

The hotel has 64 rooms:

1. Standard rooms (max 4 people). These rooms have 2-3 beds, or 2 beds and a bunk bed. This room can also accommodate a 4th person on an extra bed.
2. Wilderness Plus Rooms (4 people max). These rooms have a double bed and an extendable sofa bed for 1 adult or 2 children.
3. Rooms with sauna (4 people max). These rooms have a double bed and an extendable sofa bed for 1 adult or 2 children, a living room and a sauna.
4. Rooms with sauna Plus (5 people max). These rooms have a double bed and an extendable sofa bed for 2 adults or 3 children, a living room and a sauna.
5. Wilderness Suite rooms (5 people max), with mezzanine. These rooms have a double bed in the mezzanine and an extendable sofa bed for 2 adults or 3 children, a living room, and a mini-fridge.
6. Wilderness Suite Plus rooms (maximum 6 people), with mezzanine. These rooms have a double bed and 2 separate beds in the mezzanine, an extendable sofa bed for 2 adults or 3 children, a living room, and a mini-fridge.
7. The Harriniva Adventure Resort's 12 Arctic Glass Suites are scattered along the banks of the Muonionjoki River, a short walk from the main building. Ranging in size from approximately 30 to 33 square meters, they feature expansive floor-to-ceiling windows offering unobstructed views of the river and the Arctic sky.

The Harriniva Adventure Resort is a vast hotel complex with numerous facilities, operational in both summer and winter.

1. The restaurant houses three distinct dining areas: the main room, the Riekko dining room and the Kuukkeli , each offering a different atmosphere.
2. Two kotas, the Mutteri Kota and the Aurora Borealis Kota , offer a wood-fired cooking experience in a traditional Lappish kota, under the glow of the flames and the crackling of the wood.

The Jeris Lakeside Resort is located on the shores of Lake Jerisjärvi and next to Pallas-Ylläs National Park in Western Lapland. It is 60 km from Kittilä and 20 km from the village of Muonio.

Perched on a small hill, the hotel enjoys panoramic views of the surrounding area and offers an ideal setting for walks, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing in the heart of a preserved natural environment.

The rooms

The hotel's 27 rooms , ranging from 14 to 18 m², are all located in the main building.

They have a double bed (twin beds), and a sofa bed (for 1 young adult, or 2 children under 12 years old) and a shower room with hairdryer (3 rooms with bath).

The Arctic Sky Nests

The 20 completely independent Arctic Sky Suites at the Jeris Lakeside Resort are located just steps from the main building. These approximately 30 m² accommodations feature large bay windows offering views of the forest and the Arctic sky.

Each suite includes a sleeping area with a double bed or twin beds, a living area with a sofa bed that can accommodate one adult or two children, a bathroom with a shower, and a fully equipped kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine and crockery).

These accommodations combine comfort, wooden design and a warm atmosphere.

1. A restaurant, Leskinen , in the main building. Inspired by the history of the hotel, which was once a cross-country ski center, the restaurant is decorated with old wooden skis and heated by a large fireplace, while wide windows offer stunning views of Lake Jerisjärvi.
