Immersion in Swedish Lapland

After a typical Swedish breakfast, head out for an introduction to ice fishing on a frozen lake. Experience this authentic way of life, just like the Sami, and try your hand at catching some fish.

After a pleasant lunch by the lake, return to Luleå for a free afternoon to explore the city.

After a Swedish buffet breakfast, set off on a snowshoe hike through the forests and landscapes of Lapland. Guaranteed thrills as you immerse yourself in polar life, enjoying the peace and tranquility of the vast icy expanses. Your guide will explain the ecosystem essential to its survival. This activity is not recommended for children under 7 years old.

Lunch at base camp, then head out to meet Father Christmas, also known as Tomten or Santa Claus. During this magical moment, you'll enter Father Christmas's cozy house, where you can chat and take photos. Get ready for this unique and emotional experience that will enchant children of all ages!

The meeting with Santa Claus is only included for the following departures: December 22 and 29 and February 9, 16 and 23 and March 2.

This day will be all about adventure! You will set off on a snowmobile safari across frozen lakes and snow-covered forests.

Lunch will be provided, followed by a session learning wilderness survival techniques while developing teamwork and creativity. You'll need to build a shelter to brave the cold and gather all the resources necessary for your survival: water, wood, and fire!

After breakfast, set off to explore a traditional reindeer and moose farm. You'll meet the moose, who will be delighted to share some apples or carrots with you! The reindeer are also waiting for you; you can approach them, feed them lichen, take photos, and stroke their thick fur that allows them to withstand extreme temperatures.

Lunch will be served around the campfire, featuring a local specialty: elk barbecue. Dressed in traditional clothing, your Sami guide will present their culture and tell you about a typical year spent with their herds.

Return to the hotel. The afternoon is free to enjoy the comfort and amenities. If you haven't already, you can take a short walk on the Isbanan (at your leisure). This is an ice track that encircles Luleå. It passes close to the hotel and stretches from one harbor to the other, all the way to the island of Gråsjälören. Locals enjoy this track daily, walking, sledding, kicksledding, or skating!

Today, you'll embark on a dogsledding adventure. Climb aboard the sled, accompanied by the musher, for a 6 km ride through lakes and forests on a sled pulled by 8 to 12 perfectly trained dogs – a truly unique experience . You'll have the opportunity to discover the dogs' habitat, pet them, take photos with them, and learn more about their daily lives by chatting with the breeders. This activity is not recommended for pregnant women.

Lunch, return to the hotel, and a free afternoon . You can take the shuttle to Luleå city center to do some shopping or simply stroll around. It's a city that combines nature, culture, and gastronomy. Choose the experience that appeals to you most! Or, if you're in a more relaxed mood, you can enjoy the hotel's lounges, swimming pool, and sauna.

After dinner, you can (optionally) go aurora borealis hunting if the weather permits.

This morning, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Sweden with a visit to Storforsen Falls , an impressive site in the heart of Lapland. Enjoy a buffet lunch on site, surrounded by the majestic waterfall.

In the afternoon, explore the medieval village of Gammelstad , a UNESCO World Heritage Site , where you can visit the church and admire the charming wooden houses typical of the region. Before returning to the hotel, savor these moments of history and nature.
