Christmas in Lapland: Dog sledding & Nordic adventure

After a good night's sleep, we meet for a hearty breakfast and discuss the week's program.

We'll stop at the changing room to get your gear ready, then you'll meet the dogs. Our 60 dogs have names and live in enclosures based on compatibility: will you be able to recognize them by the end of your stay?! You'll learn all about their care, feeding, and training!

You will receive a technical briefing necessary for driving a dog sled, then we will move on to some exercises.

In the afternoon, you will go on a snowshoeing excursion to track animals and you will compose your end of the day according to your wishes: a sauna, feeding the dogs.

Putting into practice the skills learned the day before: you set off for an introduction, alone at the command of your team of 4 dogs, but always supervised by the musher.

In the afternoon, connected to your dog by an elastic leash and wearing a harness, you'll feel light as you move thanks to the dog's pulling power. The dog is a real help in the powder snow.

Return to the chalet for a family dinner and a relaxing evening. Possibility of viewing the Northern Lights if the sky is clear.

At the heart of your multi-activity stay in Swedish Lapland, this day immerses you in the fascinating history of the Sami people, the last indigenous people of Northern Europe. Through exhibitions, traditional objects, clothing, tools, stories, and photographs, you will understand how the Sami have learned to live in harmony with an extreme environment for centuries. This cultural immersion allows you to better grasp the profound connection between nature, reindeer herding, winter migrations, and Nordic traditions.

The journey to Arjeplog is also an experience in itself: snowy roads, wild immensity, pine forests and the unique atmosphere of northern Sweden accompany this timeless cultural discovery.

Embark on a day of exploration with Altaï skiing, an accessible and fun discipline, perfectly suited to the vast snowy landscapes of Lapland.

Halfway between snowshoeing and ski touring, Altaï skiing allows you to progress freely, off the beaten track, in the heart of wild and unspoiled nature. After a gentle introduction, you will progress at your own pace on varied terrain: silent forests, frozen lakes, or rolling hills.

This activity encourages you to slow down, observe, and fully experience the Nordic environment. Each outing becomes a true immersion, where the pleasure of skiing blends with contemplation.

Depending on the conditions and the level of the group, the itinerary is adapted to offer an experience that is safe, smooth and profoundly different.

The rest of the day is free : independent snowshoeing, snowball fights, sauna, or simply a good book by the fire!
