    You start from the Grand-Bornand ice rink car park for this first day in the heart of the Aravis mountain range. The route quickly immerses you in a wild atmosphere, with a demanding course where the positive elevation gain (2000m) far exceeds the total distance of 17km .

    Throughout the climb, you'll learn the fundamental techniques , with a progressive focus on rhythm and effort management. The ascent takes you to a summit over 2400m high , offering a truly immersive high-altitude experience.

    After this strenuous climb, you descend towards a remote mountain refuge , located at over 2000m , where you spend the night. This first stage sets the stage for the trip, combining physical exertion with the discovery of a pristine environment.
