Snowshoeing, Arctic Circle and Northern Lights in Norway

Our eco-lodge is a peaceful and welcoming place, designed for rejuvenation. Many guests who have stayed at the ends of the earth during their stopovers have told us they felt right at home. It is located in the heart of Sommarøy, an exceptional location. Sommarøy is easy to find; it's at the end of the road. Beyond, the vastness of the Norwegian Sea stretches all the way to the shores of Greenland. Our lodge caters to those for whom silence, space, and time are the true ingredients of luxury.

The photos of the ecolodge we're showing weren't taken in winter. Winter is whiter :-) Perhaps they give a better idea of ​​its location. In any case, we promise to try and take seasonal photos next winter.

Our ecolodge has 7 double rooms. 4 rooms have bunk beds, 2 have twin beds that can be made into proper double beds (a sailor's promise!), and 1 room has a double bed. The lodge has 3 shared showers and 3 shared toilets.

The mattresses have been carefully selected to guarantee a restful night's sleep. The access door from the lodge operates with a code, allowing you to keep your room door closed if you wish.

The entire Båthuset ecolodge is non-smoking.

Meals are prepared communally throughout your stay. We stock up for the week before your arrival. For small personal purchases, there is a grocery store 200 meters from the lodge (open from 10 am to 6 pm). They carry beer but no other alcoholic beverages. We advise those who wish to drink wine or aperitifs during their stay to pack a few bottles in their luggage. The customs allowance is four 75cl bottles per person.
