This partially renovated family-run hotel boasts a convenient location with the ski bus stop right at the doorstep , providing easy access to the ski area via the Hochbrandbahn lift. After your workout, unwind in the comfort of a complete wellness area including a Finnish sauna , hammam , infrared cabin , hydrotherapy facilities , and a relaxation room . From March onwards, a heated outdoor pool will further enhance this relaxation experience.
In terms of services, the establishment has a restaurant , a bar , a terrace , a ski storage room , and a car park equipped with an electric vehicle charging station . Baby equipment is also available to facilitate family stays.

Location The family-friendly Hotel Dorfer is located approximately 6 km from the center of Großarl. The ski area is accessible via the "Hochbrandbahn" lift, about 5 km away. The cross-country ski trail network is about 6 km away. A toboggan run is also available approximately 6 km from the hotel. Ski buses stop directly in front of the property. Amenities This partially renovated hotel features a reception area, Wi-Fi, a lounge, an elevator, a restaurant, and a bar. There is also a terrace. Ski storage is available for your winter sports equipment. On-site parking, covered parking (at an additional cost), and an electric vehicle charging station (at an additional cost) are available – subject to availability. Wellness The wellness area offers a relaxing space. You'll find a Finnish sauna, a steam room, an infrared cabin, and hydrotherapy facilities. You can also relax in the relaxation room. Bathrobes and sauna towels are available for rent. From March onwards, you can also enjoy the heated outdoor pool. High chairs and cots are available upon request/subject to availability. Connection to the accommodation:
- By bus: Take line 540 (Postbus) from Sankt Johann im Pongau train station to the Großarl Lagerhaus stop (located a few minutes' walk from the chalets). Journey time: approximately 20 to 25 minutes (tickets cost approximately €3 to €5).
- By taxi: Direct journey of approximately 15 to 20 minutes (expect to pay between €40 and €55).
Salzburg Airport (SZG): Located approximately 75 km away (about 1 hour by car or taxi). Served from Paris (CDG/ORY) with a stopover via airlines such as Lufthansa, Eurowings, Vueling, or KLM.
- From Paris (approximately 9.5 to 10 hours drive / ~980 km): Take the A4 motorway towards Strasbourg, then cross Germany via the A8 (Munich). Continue into Austria on the A10 (Tauern Autobahn) to the Bischofshofen/St. Johann exit, then follow the B109 (Großarler Landesstraße) to Großarl ( Austrian motorway vignette required ).
- From Salzburg (approximately 1 hour drive / ~75 km): Take the A10 south then take the Großarler Landesstraße to Großarl.
