In a few words

Dominating Lake Geneva, the Jura Mountains rise from the spruce forest, forming a remarkable balcony overlooking the Alps . The exhilarating snowshoe hike is followed by the pleasure of spending the night in a secluded mountain refuge ! Perched on the slopes of Mont Tendre (1680 m), the refuge offers a 180° panoramic view of the Alps , from the Eiger to the Écrins massif. After a traditional Jura cheese dish (a local specialty), and a good night's rest, it will be time to ascend to the summit of the Swiss Jura. A weekend to discover landscapes and terrain perfectly suited to snowshoeing!

Our trip was absolutely wonderful. It was incredibly enriching, with beautiful scenery and lots of information about the local flora and fauna! I loved following and discovering the tracks of wild animals throughout the trip. For future hikers, we were there at the end of March 2025 and we had to use snowshoes a few times. However, thanks to Yohann, our guide, we made the most of them: he found us the best trails and we really enjoyed the snow, even at the end of the season :) Finally, everything was well organized, and the meals were delicious and plentiful. We simply let ourselves be guided by the organization, and it was perfect for us: we achieved our goal of getting away from it all and relaxing. Thanks again to Yohann and Fred for their support throughout the trip :)

I was very satisfied with my stay; everything was as described. For my first experience in a mountain refuge, I was pleasantly surprised. The hikes were great, and there was still plenty of snow! The views were beautiful, and the pace and snowshoeing ascent were accessible to most people.
