Polar adventure in the heart of the Arctic Circle

After a good breakfast, we'll cover several topics related to safety and how to dress and stay warm in the Arctic environment. Then, we'll try on the skis (remember that our bindings are compatible with your hiking boots), and then we'll head out to try Nordic skiing. It's easy to learn, and very soon we'll be able to go for a short walk.

We will return to the cabin for lunch before heading out again in the afternoon on snowshoes to explore the surrounding area.

Since Nordic skiing is easy to learn, we can go on a real tour today and spend a few hours exploring the surrounding area. We can have lunch along the way before returning to the chalet for an afternoon snack and an optional workshop.

Dinner and sauna before going to bed!

Today, we're introducing pulkas as we head out to ski on a frozen lake! Everyone will have the chance to pull a pulka to practice the technique. We'll have lunch on the trail before returning for an optional workshop.

On days 6 and 7, you'll have the opportunity to go on an overnight expedition in the wilderness, either in a remote cabin or at a campsite. We'll prepare for this adventure by learning how to load the pulkas and reviewing essential camping skills. We'll also have time for skiing or snowshoeing.

The overnight expedition is optional, but we highly recommend you take this opportunity to put into practice all the skills acquired during the week.

Today, we put all our acquired skills into practice: we load our pulkas and head out into the wilderness. The route will depend on the conditions, but expect about 6 hours of skiing to reach a remote cabin or bivouac site. We'll spend the night in the heart of nature, in the Arctic winter.

The next day, we went back out skiing, packed up our equipment and turned the sauna back on.

A farewell dinner will be served: an opportunity to share memories, exchange contact information and dream about the next adventure.

After a light breakfast, the bus will arrive to take you back to Tromsø Airport. The journey takes 2.5 hours and, weather permitting, you'll have the opportunity to admire the fjords. You'll be back in Tromsø around 11:00 AM local time.
