An intimate, immersive stay in the heart of Finnish Lapland

Embark on a unique adventure with your own team of sled dogs! The safari lasts approximately 50 minutes, and you'll typically be two per sled (one passenger and one driver). You can switch places halfway through for a more immersive experience. After the ride, you'll have the opportunity to spend time with the dogs: they love cuddles and photos! The mushers will also be happy to answer any questions you may have about their four-legged companions.

Ice fishing has been part of the local culture in the Far North for centuries. Traditionally, it was one of the few ways to obtain food during the harshest winter conditions. You'll learn the basics of ice fishing: how to drill a hole in the ice and the different techniques for catching a fish. If you're lucky and make a good catch, your guide will even show you how to prepare it! The excursion is combined with a snowshoe hike.

Enhance your Lapland experience with a Finnish cooking workshop prepared by your guide. You'll discover what grows in the Lappish forests and how locals use it to supplement their diet. Sample reindeer, salmon, and local cheese while preparing a delicious meal with your guide!

Visit the Snow Village – a unique place built entirely of snow and ice. The rooms are decorated with ice and snow sculptures illuminated by colorful light displays to create a harmonious whole. The village is located very close to your chalet; so if you're feeling adventurous, you can ask your guide to take you there on touring skis.

In the afternoon, you will visit a reindeer farm. Reindeer sleigh rides were traditionally a means of transport for goods and passengers in Lapland. Today, some experienced herders continue to train their most skilled reindeer to perpetuate this tradition. While enjoying a romantic ride, you will travel through forests and other snowy landscapes typical of Lapland.

There's nothing better than a snowshoe hike to immerse yourself in nature: you'll be able to venture off the beaten path and reach places inaccessible on foot or by car! This snowshoeing experience will allow your guide to teach you more about the surrounding nature, local life, Arctic survival techniques, and much more. All this while you climb to the hilltop to enjoy the panoramic views!

During this day, you can relax in your comfortable chalet. If you wish, we can also organize additional activities, such as an electric fat bike ride, cross-country skiing, or snowmobiling. We can also take you to Levi for downhill skiing.
