The trip was wonderful, especially with our guide Roberto Bionotti, who provided excellent guidance and kept us informed about the history of the Dolomites. The only downside was that the included meals were only worth €12 per person for lunch and €30 per person for dinner. To avoid surprises, I think this should be clearly explained. Also, since there were four of us, the private transfer was ultimately arranged by our guide himself, even though the package includes a private bus with a driver. Our guide also acted as our driver. Overall, everything went well, but the company needs to be more transparent. I've traveled with better companies, so I'm not sure I'll use this one again.

Our guide Edoardo was fantastic. He kept us motivated and provided historical, botanical, and geological information about the different places we hiked. Before leaving, we were a little worried about the weather (in June, thunderstorms are forecast almost every day). But we had beautiful weather on all the hikes; the storms only arrived in the mid- to late afternoon, after we had finished. Incredible scenery, marmots, and edelweiss were all there! 😊

Incredible trip!! I came back with stars in my eyes, my head full of memories, and a dream come true. Top-notch organization and logistics: magnificent hotel! The picnic lunch was brilliantly managed by the guide who introduced us to local charcuterie and cheese specialties 🥰. The restaurant we chose for our evening meals was a truly exceptional experience, both culinary and personal!! The chef and his team took wonderful care of us and spoiled us rotten. The hikes were all breathtaking and orchestrated by a fantastic guide! A once-in-a-lifetime experience!! I highly recommend it+++++

Wonderful scenery with a friendly group! I've always dreamed of hiking in the Dolomites, but I didn't dare go alone. So I chose this trip with Decathlon Travel, and I don't regret it! Communication: very smooth exchanges with Kalani (Atlante), always available to answer my questions. Preparation/equipment: the provided list was very comprehensive. Since we had good weather, some items (gloves, hat, Tupperware, pocket knife) weren't very useful. On the other hand, not having my trekking poles (no checked baggage) was a real drawback; luckily, two companions lent me theirs. A headlamp isn't essential (a cell phone is enough for tunnels). The guide: Andrea was fantastic! Extremely organized, passionate about the mountains and botany, he knew everything by heart and enjoyed sharing his knowledge. He found the perfect pace: enjoying ourselves without being rushed or too tired. The hotel: located in San Vito di Cadore, welcoming staff, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was decent (rather sweet) and dinners were varied, hearty, and delicious after our hikes. The hike itself was exactly as described, with some steeper sections than expected, but the scenery was incredible. I loved the variety of terrain (rocks, forests, cliffs). The 3/5 difficulty level is a good "experienced" rating: for me, it was a good challenge, but some found it harder or easier. Perhaps a short questionnaire about fitness levels would help to better balance the groups. In short: a wonderful, well-organized trip that allowed me to fulfill a dream in a friendly atmosphere.

Comfortable stay, incredible scenery, difficulty level as described, and a very friendly guide! I regret the crowds there; this trip is probably better done in the autumn to enjoy it more than in August (I imagine it's cooler, less crowded, and the colors are beautiful!).

No sorting is done, so athletes and non-athletes are mixed together, doubling or tripling the hike time, for example, 7 hours to cover 12 km... There's no consistency whatsoever. The guide did what he could, but nothing can solve such a problem...

Hello Frédérique,

Thank you for your feedback. We regret that the group dynamics affected your experience, despite the efforts of the guide on site.

It can indeed happen that some participants overestimate their level, which makes the homogeneity of the group more difficult to guarantee, even on a trip advertised as sporting.

Your feedback has been passed on to our partner to improve this aspect in the future.

We had a fantastic stay in the Dolomites and came back thrilled. The hikes were all incredible, in magnificent scenery. Our guide Andrea was superb, very professional – well-prepared and organized. He managed the group perfectly, making everyone feel comfortable. The hotel was good – better than the online reviews suggested – but 10km from Cortina: long journeys back from hikes due to traffic jams in Cortina (roadworks in preparation for the Winter Olympics). The picnic lunches provided by the hotel were a bit basic and could be improved. We highly recommend it!
