    The hike begins in the hamlet of Cugnon , located at 1,200 m , south of Les Contamines-Montjoie. You head towards the Tré-la-Tête refuge , at 1,970 m , following a pleasant and gradual path. The ascent offers magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, perfect for getting into the spirit of adventure.

    From the refuge, you continue towards the Mauvais Pas , a more technical section before reaching the Tré-la-Tête glacier . You then ascend the glacier's right bank , admiring the Tré-La-Grande seracs , impressive blocks of ice sculpted by time. The route ends with a path leading to the Conscrits refuge , where you can enjoy a well-deserved rest after this day rich in glacial landscapes.
