    We expect you at the stables around 2pm. After a few explanations and packing our gear (a bag behind our horses with a few things for the next day), we will prepare the horses.

    We will put you on horseback in the small grass arena to briefly discuss how to communicate with our horse.

    Then we will leave for the refuge where we have planned to meet for supper.

    An approximately 2 to 2.5 hour ride awaits you. Magnificent landscapes will allow you to spend a relaxing time at the pace of the hooves.

The hamlet of Le Bois is located approximately 23 km from the train station. To complete your journey, you have two options:

  1. By bus: Take bus line S66 which connects Moûtiers train station and Champagny-en-Vanoise. During peak season, shuttle buses may extend the journey to the various hamlets of Champagny-le-Haut.
  2. By taxi / private hire vehicle: You can book a taxi directly at the exit of the station (allow approximately 25 to 30 minutes journey time for an average cost of €50 to €70 depending on the time and season).
