Immersive horseback riding on Corsican trails

After the horses are assigned , you'll have time to prepare your equipment and learn how to safely girth, bridle , and handle your mount. The team will teach you the essential rules of horseback riding, ensuring you get off to a good start. Once the horses are ready, you'll set off in the saddle towards the woods of Saint Jean .

Enjoy a picnic lunch on site , followed by a visit to the San Giovanni Battista chapel and the old Legion buildings , nestled in the heart of the forest. At the end of the day, take care of your horse: grooming, watering, feeding , and some well-deserved rest for everyone.

An early start towards the east of Corte , riding up to the perched village of Santa Lucia di Mercurio , clinging to the rocks. From this natural viewpoint, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Corte , as if seen from the sky.

The midday break is taken by a refreshing stream , ideal for relaxing after the climb. At the end of the day, it's time to care for the horses : grooming, watering, and feeding.

A more relaxed day with a morning horseback ride to Pointe du Corbeau , for those who wish to stay in the saddle.

Lunch at the farm or in a restaurant (at an additional cost) according to your preferences.

Free afternoon to visit Corte : stroll through the old town, discover Corsican products in shops or visit the Museum of Corsica to better understand local history or go swimming in the natural pools of the Restonica valley.

Departure by cattle truck to reach the foothills of the mountain. Today's route passes through the villages of Poggio-di-Venaco, Riventosa and Casanova , in the heart of more confidential Corsica.

Picnic break in the shade in Casanova Square , near the drinking fountain. In the afternoon, the ascent continues to the summit of Felce , with a detour to Punta Cisterna , offering sweeping panoramic views.

The day ends with a sustained descent in the forest , followed by caring for the horses at the farm.

We set off early in the morning to reach Mare e Stagnu in Aléria, a 200-hectare estate steeped in a thousand years of history. Nestled between maquis shrubland, a pond, and the sea, it offers an exceptional panorama with the mountains as a backdrop.

In the saddle, we set off through the vineyards to discover the Diana pond, famous for its oyster farming since antiquity, when its oysters were already being shipped as far as Rome. We also pass by the Diana tower, erected in the 16th century , a testament to the rich past of this coast.

The seascapes contrast with the previous days and offer a beautiful, salty interlude.

At the end of the day, the horses receive their usual care , before enjoying a night by the sea.

In the morning, head to Padulone beach for a unique experience: swimming with horses , ridden bareback , in a natural setting. A moment of connection and freedom shared with your mount.

In the afternoon, return by truck to the Albadu farm . Upon arrival, you take care of your horse and its equipment one last time, closing the week calmly and carefully.

After a final breakfast at the farm, it's time to pack our bags. The return shuttle to Bastia airport is scheduled between 10am and 11am , for a flight departing at 1:30pm .
