Wild equestrian adventure in the heart of Agriates in Corsica

The horses will be prepared in the morning, then we'll depart late morning from the Albadu farm. We'll cross the town of Corte , heading north, crossing the Cabetsoli stream before taking the old Corte–Castirla trail . We'll have a picnic lunch at the Ominanda pass , surrounded by nature.

Upon arrival, the focus shifts to caring for the horses : grooming, massages, watering and feeding. The wild bivouac is set up at a place called Tripiole , with the option of sharing a campfire in the evening.

Departure towards the Popolasca Needles , crossing the Golu pass and then the village of Popolasca . Descent towards the Asco River , where you cross an old stone bridge before stopping for a picnic lunch. A refreshing swim is possible during the break. The afternoon continues with a long gallop through the valley .

At the end of the day, you take care of your horses (grooming, massaging, watering, feeding), then set up your wild bivouac on the banks of the Tartagine . Another opportunity to enjoy a swim in the great outdoors.

Head into the Castifao Valley , passing sheepfolds and the San Pietro fountain. You'll ride on horseback between valley slopes and panoramic ridges . Enjoy a picnic lunch with an unobstructed view towards the sea , then continue the route towards the village of Pietralba, perched on the high slopes of the Balanina.

In the late afternoon, the horses were cared for as usual: grooming, massage, watering and feeding. The bivouac was set up .

An early start for a more strenuous day. A gradual climb along an old mule track to the Col de Tenda (1200m) . With a bit of luck, you might encounter wild horses along the way.

Picnic by the stream. Continue towards the village of Sorio , and descend through the Aliso valley, punctuated by invigorating gallops . At the end of the day, care for the horses as usual, then set up camp at the "La Pinède" campsite , equipped with a swimming pool for a final moment of relaxation .

In the morning, resume your hike along the coastal path towards Saleccia beach , enjoying the unique atmosphere of white sand and turquoise sea. In the afternoon, enjoy a special moment with your horses on Saleccia beach : a bareback swim. A powerful experience, a direct connection with your mounts.

At the end of the day, care for the horses as every day, then setting up camp at the "U Paradisu" campsite , with breathtaking views of the sunset .

The journey continues across the Agriates Desert along its coastal side. You'll ride along the coast, between secluded coves , fine sandy beaches , and enjoy gallops along the shore . A picnic lunch will be enjoyed with your feet in the water, offering the possibility of a swim . The route continues to Ostriconi , where a truck transfer will take you back to the Albadu farm . A final check-up for the horses and their tack will complete this adventure. Dinner will be served at a local guesthouse , and you'll spend the night in a dormitory .

After a leisurely breakfast at the farm , it's time to pack your bags. Transfer to Bastia airport is scheduled for around 10:00 AM , allowing you to catch your return flight departing at 1:30 PM .
