Walks and breathtaking nature: Nepal in comfort

A day dedicated to discovering the historical wonders of Kathmandu: Swayambhunath. This is an enormous Buddhist monument atop a hill overlooking the city of Kathmandu. It is also known as the "Monkey Temple" because monkeys from the nearby forest have just "stolen" offerings made to the gods. Then, a visit to the great stupa of Bodhnath, a sacred Buddhist site. Located in the heart of the Tibetan quarter, where many monasteries of exile were built. The next visit is to Patan. This was another kingdom in the Kathmandu Valley before the unification of Nepal in the 18th century. It is well known for its beautiful temples, arts, and crafts. Likewise, its small, hidden Buddhist monasteries called vihars are another beauty to see in Patan. Return to the hotel.

After breakfast, we visit Bhaktapur, another princely city east of Kathmandu. Its medieval alleyways offer a journey into glorious history and showcase the ancient charm of Nepal and the Newars, the indigenous people of the Kathmandu Valley, who created magnificent monuments like the Nyatapole Temple. We also visit Durabar Square, the potters' quarter, all within walking distance. Then, a short transfer takes us to Nagarkot, renowned for offering one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival in Nagarkot, enjoy an easy walk in the area. Admire the sunrise and sunset over the snow-capped peaks on a clear day. Surrounded by peaceful forests and verdant hills, Nagarkot is an ideal place to experience the majesty of the Himalayas in a serene and inspiring setting.

We witness a sunrise over the Himalayas and enjoy the golden colors on the snow house! Sunrise over Mount Langtang (7210m), Mount Ganesh (7424m), Mount Dorje Lakpa (6900m), and more! Afterward, we drive to Namobuddha. Halfway there, we stop for sightseeing and lunch in the old town of Dhulikhel before continuing on to Namobuddha – a Buddhist historical site in a magnificent landscape, where the Buddha is said to have sacrificed one of his previous lives to feed a tigress and her hungry cubs. Upon arrival at Namobuddha, there's an easy walk in the surrounding area.

Early in the morning, we will attend Buddhist prayers at Namobuddha Monastery. It's a pleasant and easy walk from our accommodation to the monastery, which houses many of the monks. We then return to Kathmandu and take a domestic flight to Pokhara, a beautiful city built on the shores of Phewa Lake, with the Annapurna range as a backdrop. We'll relax and explore Lakeside.

Early in the morning, we have a short transfer to Sarangkot – a famous viewpoint overlooking the Annapurnas – to watch the sunrise. This spot offers splendid views of several peaks rising to over 8,000m and 7,000m… Return to the hotel for breakfast.

Afternoon options (optional): Early in the morning, we hike up to Shanti Stupa, the "Pagoda of Peace." From the temple, we have a panoramic view of the Annapurna range. After a pleasant break for contemplation, we descend to Phewa Lake, which we cross by boat. 2 hours of walking

After breakfast, you'll depart by tourist bus from the mountains to the Terai plains, which stretch across the foothills of India and Nepal. You'll arrive at Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984. The flora and fauna here are incredibly diverse. It shelters one of the last remaining populations of the Asian one-horned rhinoceros and is also one of the last refuges for the Bengal tiger. Upon arrival in Chitwan, you'll check into your hotel, and in the late afternoon, you'll embark on a walk to explore the villages and learn about the way of life of the local ethnic group, the Tharu. In the evening, you'll attend a cultural performance where local artists showcase the region's traditional dances.

A day dedicated to exploring the jungle. Accompanied by a local guide, you'll embark on a morning excursion to observe the park's flora and fauna. The day begins with a peaceful canoe trip down the Rapti River to watch the birds at sunrise. This is also the perfect time to spot other animals such as crocodiles, deer, rhinoceroses, and perhaps even Bengal tigers. After canoeing, you'll continue your exploration, this time on foot, through the park's tropical jungle. Returning to the hotel, you'll enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading out to meet the Terai elephants! Your guide and the mahout will explain the elephants' way of life. You'll have the opportunity to approach them and feed them their favorite treats: bananas and bamboo.

After breakfast, we take a domestic flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for rest, relaxation, sightseeing, and making souvenirs.
