This is a day that will allow you to connect with Nepal's profound artistic and spiritual heritage. You will have the opportunity to stand in an ancient royal courtyard, such as Patan Durbar Square, and marvel at its timeless architecture and exquisite carvings, which tell the stories of a bygone era. The journey will also take you to deeply revered sacred sites, from the immense and serene dome of the Boudhanath Stupa to the panoramic views of Swayambhunath (also known as the "Monkey Temple"), and the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, a pilgrimage site where open-air cremation ceremonies take place on the banks of the Bagmati River.

Today's journey is a scenic drive westward toward the beautiful city of Pokhara. Watch the landscape transform as you wind through lush hills and river valleys. You'll arrive in the serene atmosphere of Pokhara, a city nestled gracefully on the shores of Phewa Lake, beneath the magnificent Annapurna mountains, including the iconic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), which provides a perfect backdrop.

Your mountain adventure begins with a drive to the trek's starting point. The trail winds through small villages before reaching the day's main challenge: the famous stone staircase leading to Ulleri. This rewarding climb through a cool forest takes you to the beautiful village of Magar, where you'll spend the night.

Today's hike is a gentle, rhythmic climb through a magnificent forest of rhododendrons and oaks. The trail guides you through a magical, moss-covered world, bursting with color if you trek in the spring. You'll eventually arrive at the welcoming village of Ghorepani, perched on a ridge offering spectacular mountain views.

You'll rise before dawn for a memorable hike to the summit of Poon Hill. There, you'll witness one of the world's most magnificent sunrises, an experience that will humble you as the first rays of light touch the panoramic peaks of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. After returning for breakfast, the journey will continue through stunning forests on the trail leading to the village of Tadapani.

Your final day of trekking is a beautiful descent to the remarkable Gurung village of Ghandruk. You'll have time to appreciate its traditional stone houses and incredible close-up views of the mountains. From there, the trail continues to the road, where a vehicle will be waiting to take you back to the welcoming comfort of Pokhara.

Today, you'll discover the wonders of the Pokhara Valley at a leisurely pace. You can enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Phewa Lake, visit Davis Falls, and explore the sacred Gupteshwar Cave. An optional pre-dawn excursion to Sarangkot will offer another opportunity to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas.

From the mountains, your journey continues south towards the wild tropical plains. The scenic road descends to the flatlands and leads you to your lodge, located on the edge of Chitwan National Park. After settling in, you'll have the opportunity to discover the local Tharu culture during a guided walk through the village.

A full day of jungle exploration awaits you at this incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include a jeep safari through the grasslands in search of the elusive one-horned rhinoceros. You'll also embark on a peaceful canoe trip down the Rapti River, an ideal way to spot marsh crocodiles and gharials, which feed on fish.

After a final morning activity, you will begin your journey back to Kathmandu. The drive will offer a final opportunity for reflection as you leave the flat plains and wind through the hills to reach the capital. The evening will be dedicated to enjoying a final celebratory dinner and reminiscing about the incredible diversity you have discovered.
