Self-guided hiking in Lozère, in the heart of wild nature

Hotel** Les Chemins Francis: you will be accommodated in a double, twin, or triple room. Solo travelers can be grouped together in a twin room with two beds at no extra charge, or in a single room for an additional fee (€200). Simply let us know your preference when booking.

A family saga that began in… 1933. Our hotel, accommodations and our stays in Lozère take their name from the concept created by my father and my uncle.

My great-grandparents founded the hotel in the 1930s; my grandparents expanded it; the two Francises and their wives further developed it and gave their name to our family-run hiking holiday organization. Two houses now comprise the world of Chemins Francis, separated by the Lot River, in the heart of the village of Bagnols-les-Bains .

1. The main Chemins Francis building is located on the left bank of the Lot River. It's easy to find, as it's the only house on the bridge. The rooms are equipped with showers, toilets, telephones, and televisions. The restaurant and bar are also located at Chemins Francis. Guests have free access to the facilities (indoor heated pool at 30°C, spa, sauna, etc.).

1. Very peaceful, the second hotel, Le Malmont, is located on the right bank of the Lot River. Just a 2-minute walk from Chemins Francis, it offers spacious rooms and the option of adding one or two extra beds. All rooms have a private bathroom, toilet, and television. Each room also has a small south-facing balcony. The restaurant and bar are located at Chemins Francis; simply cross the Lot River to reach them. Of course, you also have free access to the facilities there (indoor heated pool at 30°C, spa, sauna, etc.).

The hotel houses our bar and restaurant . After your hike, you'll find a drying room for your shoes and wet clothes, as well as a washing machine…

For every stay in our establishment, enjoy free access to our relaxation area, located in our main house .

Within this space you will find an indoor pool heated to 30°C, a sauna, a hot tub (6 seats), as well as sun loungers for you to relax.

You can also take advantage of our various wellness services:

– Each week, as part of our stays, we offer a 1.5-hour YOGA session upon registration upon arrival .

– In partnership with Mariane Durand we offer à la carte wellness services within our establishment (body massages, wellness treatments, etc.).

– Thanks to the partnership established with the Aqua Calida thermal center, you can benefit from a spa option at the thermal center during your stay .

A restaurant serving traditional cuisine, meals taken at the hotel, picnics at midday.
