The expert's opinion
This circuit is classified as Level 2 because it does not require any particular technical skills, but requires good physical condition and the habit of practicing walking regularly.
The main effort is concentrated during the trek in the North (Days 4, 6 and 8), where we hike on mountain and jungle trails. Although the elevation gains remain manageable, the actual walking time varies between 3.5 and 5 hours per day.

Management
Throughout our adventure, we are accompanied by an expert French-speaking guide, who ensures group cohesion and a smooth itinerary. For more specific hiking stages, such as our trek in the heart of Doi Inthanon National Park or our exploration of Thaton's hidden trails, he is assisted by a passionate local guide, like Renato, a member of the Karen tribe.

Then, we climbed into the surrounding mountains. Along the way, we stopped at Wat Pha Lat temple, a true haven of peace hidden in the forest. We continued on to the magnificent Doi Suthep, perched at an altitude of 1200 meters. In this mystical atmosphere, each statue and each step introduced us to the subtleties of Buddhism. In the late afternoon, we went outside the city for a special experience: a traditional cooking class taught in French.
