The Kilimanjaro Marangu Route trek begins on the day of your arrival in Tanzania , with airport pickup and transfer to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha. While guests can arrive at any time during the day , it is recommended to arrive no later than 4:00 PM to allow sufficient time for the pre-climb briefing, equipment check, and safety discussion with your mountain guides. This ensures all preparations are completed correctly before the trek begins the following morning.

The trek takes place over several days and culminates with the ascent of Uhuru Peak , the highest point in Africa. After the descent and return to the hotel on the last day of the trek, the tour officially ends with the transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport , where you can extend your stay in Tanzania to relax or participate in cultural visits and other activities.
