    The hike begins with a gradual ascent through a spruce forest, which slowly opens up to one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the massif: the Aiguillette des Posettes (2,201 m). Up there, Mont Blanc unfolds in all its majesty, a panorama that immediately sets the tone for the trip.


    The descent towards Vallorcine is gentle, through one of the most beautiful forests in Haute-Savoie, before crossing the Swiss border.


    A taxi transfer then transports you to another world: that of the Lac des Dix and the Grande Dixence dam , one of the largest gravity dams in the world. You will spend the night there in unique accommodation, formerly used by the construction workers: a place steeped in history, with breathtaking views of this mountain lake that feels like the end of the world.
