For sleeping
- 1 lightweight sleeping bag (comfort rating 0 to 5°C recommended) – take a compact and lightweight sleeping bag (the guesthouses on the GR20 do not provide blankets)
- A sleeping bag liner (sewn bag) or a sheet (mandatory)
- Earplugs if you are a light sleeper
For the picnic
- A sealed plastic container (0.8 L) for transporting vegetable salads.
- Cutlery (fork, spoon, folding knife)
- A filtered water bottle or hydration pack is much more practical...
Small equipment
- A pair of jogging-style sneakers, or sandals for the evening
- A pair of telescopic poles (highly recommended)
- Sunglasses and high SPF sunscreen (lips and skin)
- A small toiletry kit and a compact towel
- A headlamp with a new battery or a spare battery
- Toilet paper
- 2 large garbage bags to protect your belongings from the rain
- A mini-pharmacy: personal medications, an anti-diarrheal, an external disinfectant (90% alcohol), an anti-inflammatory cream, Compeed paracetamol for blisters, elastic bandages, gauze, arnica granules and aspirin for minor injuries... a survival blanket
You should also plan to bring warm, quick-drying technical clothing.
