    The hike begins in Pont Valsavaranche, at the foot of Gran Paradiso. We'll take the route on the opposite side of the ascent, allowing us to better admire the contours of the only 4,000-meter peak entirely within Italy in the Alps. We'll climb to the Nivolet Pass, then continue to Lake Rosset and the Rosset Pass at 3,000 meters. After a break, we'll descend to the Benevolo Refuge in the Val di Rhemes, a small, welcoming refuge enjoying a privileged position at the bottom of the valley. This will allow us to fully appreciate the waterfalls, flowery meadows, marmots, and other animals that inhabit the Gran Paradiso National Park.
