After a good breakfast, we will meet at the meeting point around 9:30 am. The French-speaking guide will begin by explaining the instructions to follow, give you the technical safety equipment for canyoning, the picnics/snacks for the day and check your equipment.
Ready? Let's go for 5 to 7 hours of activity in one of the most beautiful canyons of the Sierra de Guara depending on the conditions at the time (Mascun, Formiga, Barrasil...).
Beyond the short hikes to and from the canyon and the first dips in incredible natural pools, we will discover together some of the legendary landscapes of the Sierra de Guara, its inhabitants (plants, birds of prey, etc.), and the main techniques for canyoning. We will explore this multi-element discipline combining water, air, and rock through workshops (abseiling lessons, etc.) and accessible challenges along the canyon descent.
In this canyoning paradise with over 100 canyons for beginners and experts, children and adults alike, there are thousands of challenges within the routes (always optional for the more adventurous, such as big jumps or siphons). Throughout your stay, you'll learn in small, homogeneous groups and progress at your own pace in each of the canyoning techniques you encounter: walking, swimming, rappelling, jumping, sliding, freediving, resistance, downclimbing, and other surprises... Under the watchful eye of your guide, who will accompany you throughout this "sports holiday-course," the idea is to have fun both individually and as a group, to learn, to enjoy yourself, to be amazed, and to progress safely with family or friends!
The activity typically finishes between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM, and you'll return your equipment to base camp to dry. This will be the perfect time to head back to your accommodation to relax (a walk, a swim, a drink at the bar, or simply unwind) and enjoy some peace and quiet before dinner.
