Winter escape to the heart of the Finnish wilderness

In the heart of the Far North landscapes, an immersive day awaits, filled with wild nature, Nordic traditions, and moments of pure exhilaration. A pack of over 100 Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, and Yakutian Laikas brings to life the rich history and heritage of these iconic dogs.

After a few driving and safety instructions, set off for your first taste of dog sledding (pulled by 6 to 8 dogs). Along the way, a break allows you to capture the moment and take turns driving. Duration: 2 hours, 2 people per sled.

Lunch break at the restaurant.

A moment of relaxation in a Finnish smoke sauna, heated for several hours, envelops travelers in a deep and soothing warmth. For the more adventurous, a plunge into the frozen lake awakens the senses and invigorates the body. Duration: 1 hour

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Between vast snowy landscapes and unique Nordic experiences, set off for a day punctuated by adventure and relaxation.

After a safety briefing, the route winds through the forest before reaching Lake Lamäsjärvi, where the icy expanse offers breathtaking panoramas. The thrill of gliding and a sense of freedom accompany every moment. Duration: 2 to 3 hours (2 people per snowmobile)

Tasting of local beers followed by dinner at a restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Throughout the day, a gentle and authentic immersion in the snowy landscapes, between Nordic activities and moments of conviviality.

Morning: Cross-country skiing

Marked and signposted trails wind through nature, with the option of being accompanied by a guide to fully enjoy the experience.

Afternoon: Snowshoeing

A timeless interlude, at the pace of walking, amidst silent landscapes. There, a warm moment awaits around the fire with hot juice and grilled local sausages.

Northern Lights Hunt

As night falls, head into the forest, illuminated by the glow of headlamps. A unique immersion in the taiga, carried by the breath of the dog sled and the magical atmosphere of the place. Duration: approx. 2 hours.

Head for a day of gentleness, sharing and local traditions, as close as possible to nature and Finnish culture.

Morning: The kennel opens its doors for a Cani-hike in the company of retired, experienced, and still energetic dogs, happy to explore their favorite trails. Then, feeding time for the dogs, a special moment to get up close to the pack. Duration: approx. 3 hours.

Lunch at a restaurant.

Afternoon: free time or introduction to Finnish cuisine alongside chefs Maritta and Larissa, to discover local flavors in a friendly atmosphere.

Dinner at the Lentiira Resort and Safaris restaurant.

On the trail of the Northern Lights, we'll board a sled for an escape under the Arctic sky, in search of this fascinating natural phenomenon.

The long-awaited moment: a total immersion in the world of mushers, at the pace of the dogs and nature.

For four hours, embark on a dogsledding adventure. Prepare the sled, learn about the team's composition—lead dogs, swing, and wheels—before the big departure. Led by the guides, the route winds through the forest and across frozen lakes, for an experience that is as intense as it is authentic.

In the heart of the woods, a lunch break punctuates the journey, before hitting the road again with new drivers.

Back at camp, it's time for moments of connection: cuddling the dogs, putting away the equipment, then feeding the dog team, like a ritual that closes this emotionally rich day.

At the agreed time, transfer to Kaajani Airport. Flight to Paris CDG on scheduled Finnair flights (with a stopover in Helsinki). End of the trip.
