Start your adventure on the Belle Via with a 45 km journey from Annecy to Albertville, along Lake Annecy and then through the Savoyard alpine valleys.

Your adventure begins in Annecy, where you pick up your equipment for a self-guided tour thanks to the one-way service. You set off on the famous cycle path that runs alongside the lake. This flat route allows you to enjoy the turquoise waters and panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. You then leave the shores to reach the Val d'Arly valley, where the landscapes become wilder and more authentic. Along the way, a stop at Fort Tamié is a must to discover its abbey and local crafts. Your route continues towards Albertville, with a recommended visit to the medieval town of Conflans. Perched on the heights, its cobbled streets offer breathtaking views of the valley before concluding this first leg in the host city of the 1992 Winter Olympics.
