The adventure begins on a section of the Belle Via before joining the famous Route des Grandes Alpes. This first 45km stage takes you on a journey between lakes, fields and mountains.

The journey begins on the shores of Lake Annecy. You'll cross the Old Town, where lively alleyways and colorful facades set the rhythm for your day. Soon, the sounds of the city fade away, replaced by the tranquility of the hills that appear on the horizon.

Once you arrive in Thônes, take some time to stroll through the historic center. Its traditional houses and mountain village atmosphere embody the heart of Savoyard life. It's the perfect opportunity to sample Reblochon, the iconic cheese of the surrounding valleys.
