Your week is structured around 5 days of practice and one day of rest. Example of a typical day:
Wake up and enjoy a peaceful breakfast at the surf house. Around 9 am, head out to the day's surf spot (approximately 20 minutes) with your instructor. On the beach, they'll help you assess the conditions: where the peak is located, what the currents are, and the best route to position yourself. They'll advise you on techniques to perfect: paddling, duck diving to get through the whitewater, and standing up for optimal surfing. After a safety briefing, you'll set off for a great session, guided by your instructor's expert eye and advice.
After your morning's sailing, it's time for a well-deserved break. Enjoy your picnic overlooking the sea at the designated spot. This is the perfect opportunity to chat with the other trainees about their morning's experiences.
In the afternoon, you'll return to the water for another surf lesson. You'll have the opportunity to put all the morning's tips into practice, allowing you to progress throughout the week and become more independent. You'll return to the surf house in the late afternoon, giving you time to explore the surrounding area.
The schedule may change to allow for better sessions depending on the weather.
