A week to discover surfing with confidence
This week is for beginners, even those who have never set foot on a board. Everything is organized so you can progress at your own pace, without stress and without having to travel on your own.
The week includes five full days of supervised practice and one rest day. Each day is designed to promote your learning, safety, and comfort.
After breakfast at the surf house, you'll head out in a van with your instructor to the beach best suited to the day's conditions. No need for a car: everything is taken care of, from transport to equipment.
Before each session, you learn to observe the ocean, identify good areas, and understand how waves work. These basics are essential for learning to surf safely.
On the beach, your instructor guides you step by step: you discover the basic techniques (paddling, position, standing up on the board) and progress at your own pace, in a supportive atmosphere. After the warm-up, you enter the water for a first session tailored to your level.
A picnic lunch is planned on the beach during the midday break. You will then have a second session in the afternoon to reinforce the skills learned in the morning and continue to progress on the board.
Back at the surf house at the end of the day, you'll have free time to relax, chat with the group, or watch videos of your sessions, depending on the options you've chosen. Regular check-ins with your instructor will allow you to monitor your progress and adapt the exercises to your development.
A rest day is planned during the week, weather permitting. You can use this time to explore the surrounding area on foot, visit Peniche, or simply relax.
This progressive, structured and guided format is ideal for learning to surf in a relaxed way, even without any prior experience.
