Enjoy surf sessions led by certified instructors in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. After the waves, unwind in our garden, share a homemade meal, or participate in our yoga sessions (optional, payable on site) for optimal recovery.
Accommodation is available in dormitory-style sleeping pods (double rooms and vintage caravans are available at an additional cost upon request), offering comfort and authenticity to everyone. Meals are prepared with fresh, local ingredients, promoting a healthy and convivial experience .

The Atlantic Surf Lodge is ideal for all levels , from beginner to advanced surfer. Surf sessions are tailored to each individual, with groups divided according to experience and progression goals.
Beginners benefit from instruction with certified instructors to learn the basics of surfing safely. Intermediate surfers refine their technique and develop their independence in the water, while advanced surfers receive expert advice to optimize their style and wave reading.
The surf camp stands out for its comprehensive approach to surfing: theory lessons, video analysis, and open sessions allow for rapid and effective progress. Equipment is provided, with boards suited to each level. Lessons are taught in English to accommodate our international clientele.

From 3pm – Arrival & check-in
The lodge staff warmly welcomes the travelers. After a quick briefing, they discover their accommodation and take the time to settle in.
A quick tour of the premises allows newcomers to familiarize themselves with the common areas: garden, dining room, chill-out area, and storage for surfboards and wetsuits. The team explains the week's schedule, surf session times, and additional options such as yoga (in June).
7:30 p.m. – Welcome message & dinner
To kick off the stay, everyone gathers around a homemade dinner, prepared with fresh, local produce. It's a chance to get to know the other surfers and the lodge staff.
9pm – Relaxing evening
After dinner, it's time to relax! Some chat over a drink, while others prefer to rest before their first surf session the next day. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, perfect for getting into the spirit before a week of surfing and sharing.

The days are organized according to the tides and change every week.
Energizing breakfast
A varied buffet with fresh fruit, muesli, bread, pastries and healthy options to start the day off right, with the possibility of preparing a small picnic for the beach.
Surf lessons (depending on the tide)
The groups are divided by skill level and head to the beach with their certified instructor. The 1.5-hour session includes a warm-up, practical time in the water, and personalized guidance.
A theory session is organized during the week and a rest day for the surfer is planned to assimilate everything you will learn!
Debriefing & free time
Return to the lodge for a video analysis of the sessions (depending on level) and advice for improvement. Then, relaxation: a nap, reading, or a bike ride in the surrounding area.
Optional activities:
- French courses : For foreign travelers wishing to improve their French.
- Free surfing : Possibility to return to the water for those who want to practice more.
- Yoga : A relaxing yoga class to stretch muscles and promote recovery after surfing.
8pm: Dinner & free evening
A friendly moment around a homemade dinner where everyone shares their experiences of the day.
One evening a week, the kitchen is closed: you can have your meal in the villa in one of the many restaurants in Vieux Boucau.

Breakfast & final exchanges
A final breakfast shared with the group, an opportunity to exchange memories and collect contact details of new friends met during the stay.
Last surf session (depending on the tide, optional)
For those who wish, a final free or supervised session to enjoy the Landes waves one last time before departure.
11am – Check-out & tidying up
The travelers pack their belongings and check out of their accommodation. The team is available to assist and provide final recommendations for the rest of their trip.
12pm – Departure & goodbye
After a final moment of relaxation at the lodge, it's time to say goodbye to the team and the other participants. Some are extending their stay in the region, while others are leaving with wonderful memories and improved surfing skills .

Note
Surf lessons take place from Sunday to Friday with a theory lesson during the week, for a total of 10 hours of surfing.
The days at the lodge revolve around surfing, depending on the forecast conditions and the tides.
A day off is also planned for you to rest; the kitchen is closed one evening a week.

Atlantic Surf Lodge is located in Vieux Boucau, 800m from Sables d'Or beach, close to the town centre, shops and local life. The Vélodyssée cycle path passes right in front of our house!
