Another memorable day on this family holiday in the Cévennes! The morning is dedicated to an introduction to via ferrata in the heart of the Cévennes National Park, surrounded by beech and chestnut forests. Picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you'll head to the jewel of the Cévennes canyons. Aesthetically pleasing and fun, this family canyoning experience takes place in a veritable natural "water park" crafted by Mother Nature! Whitewater swimming, rappelling, waterfalls, jumps of up to 10 meters (optional), and natural slides await you for the enjoyment of the whole family.

This day is all about freedom and shared enjoyment. After several action-packed days, the free morning is often much appreciated for relaxing, enjoying the pool, or strolling through the village. More active families can also choose to combine two activities in one day, for example, via ferrata in the morning and paddleboarding in the afternoon.
Option 1 – Via ferrata (from age 10) - The Liaucous via ferrata, one of the most renowned in France. Two routes are offered.
Option 2 – Paddleboarding. Introduction to stand-up paddleboarding accompanied by a qualified instructor.
Option 3 – Caving. Discover caving in a fun way in the Poujol cave, an easily accessible underground cavity.
Option 4 – Meet Przewalski's horses. In the heart of the Causse Méjean plateau, encounter a unique species of wild horse, saved from extinction. Accompanied by specialists.
Option 5 – Visit to an artisanal cheese dairy. Discover a family-run cheese dairy on the Causse Méjean plateau with explanations
Option 6 – Ecomuseum: a traditional Causses farm. Immerse yourself in the daily life of Causses farmers of yesteryear through a visit to a restored traditional farm.
Option 7 – Visit to the Aven Armand cave: Descent by funicular to one of the most beautiful underground sites in France, followed by a guided tour of a spectacular forest of stalagmites

This morning after breakfast, a short transfer takes you to Mont Aigoual, the highest peak in the southern Cévennes at 1,567 meters. On a clear day, the view is breathtaking. You can see the Aubrac plateau, Mont Lozère, the Italian Monte Viso, the Pyrenean Canigou, the Provençal Ventoux, and even the Mediterranean Sea. A highlight of this family trip is exploring the 18 km of trails and paths at your own pace, all the way down to the village of Meyrueis, equipped with modern scooters.
