An early morning meeting in Arolla. Our guide will check our equipment and present the program before we set off! We'll then leave, laden with our packs and food for the three days, heading towards the Arolla Glacier. This first day requires a good effort: approximately 6 hours of climbing through magnificent landscapes, rewarded by our arrival at our base camp, the Cabane des Bouquetins (Ibex Hut). Depending on the group's energy and the weather, we can use the afternoon to practice some technical exercises led by our guide. Then it will be time to settle into our refuge perched at 2,980 meters, facing an exceptional panorama. Together, we'll prepare dinner before our first night at altitude, lulled by the unique atmosphere of the high mountains.

PROGRAM CHANGE

This program may be modified at the guide's discretion if mountain conditions, weather or the physical condition of the participants require it.

The guide decides on the final program based on the following criteria:

- Participants' skill level, races already completed, and your desired outcomes

- Mountain conditions and weather conditions will also determine the choice of routes.

Depending on weather and snow conditions, the Bouquetins refuge may be modified and replaced by another, safer high mountain refuge.
