    We'll meet our guide and the other participants, then depart from Bourg Saint Bernard for the Great St. Bernard Hospice. A pleasant ski tour uphill, perfect for warming up. We'll explore this unique accommodation, which will be our base camp for the next three days. A few safety equipment drills will ensure we're ready for this ski touring weekend.

Overall, a very enjoyable stay, as the Great St. Bernard Pass is a magnificent place, perfectly suited for ski touring. We received a very warm welcome at the Great St. Bernard Hospice. We enjoyed some wonderful outings with our guide and benefited from excellent conditions. However, we were quite disappointed with the agency (***** subcontracted by Decathlon Travel). The directions for accessing the Hospice were unclear. It was indicated that we should bring two bags, but the guide advised us to take only one, which proved much more practical for the ski ascent to the Hospice. Sheets and towels were listed as included in the description, but in reality, this was not the case, and we had to pay extra (even though we could have brought them ourselves if we had known in advance). Finally, we were in a 16-person dormitory when we could have been in an 8-person dormitory with sheets and towels included (like the other groups who were at the hospice at the same time as us).
