    The meeting point with the guide is at the departure point of the Champex-Lac station at 8:00 am.

    After a check of your equipment, you'll begin your ascent towards the Col des Écandies , located between the Petite Pointe d'Orny and the Pointe des Écandies. Your route starts on the ski slope, then continues through the wild Arpette valley. This first day will allow the guide to get to know you and assess your skiing ability.

    The descent is then made on skis to the refuge, where you can enjoy a good beer on your return and where you will spend the night.

The program is provided as a guideline and may be modified depending on weather conditions or the group's physical condition. The guide may suggest alternatives, such as climbing another peak in the area.

The area offers numerous possibilities in terms of elevation gain and slopes, allowing us to adapt our route accordingly. This program has been designed to give the guide great flexibility in route selection, enabling better safety management based on weather and snow conditions.
