Location: The modern Résidence Capella is located approximately 350 meters from the center of Avoriaz, at an altitude of approximately 1,800 meters. Access to the ski area is possible via the "TD6 Lac-Intrets" ski lift, located approximately 750 meters away, or the "TS6 Tour" ski lift, located approximately 800 meters away. The "Aquariaz" indoor swimming pool is approximately 550 meters away. Downhill skiers and snowboarders will find slopes almost directly outside the door. A shuttle bus runs from the accommodation to the resort entrance. The nearest shops are approximately 250 meters away, and the closest cafes and restaurants are approximately 210 meters away. Amenities: This comfortable accommodation is equipped with a reception area and Wi-Fi. You can store your winter sports equipment in a heated ski/snowboard room. At the entrance to the resort, you will find a public car park (extra charge) and a public covered car park (extra charge) – subject to availability. Wellness: Inside your accommodation is an indoor swimming pool. Children: On request, parents with young children receive a baby pack (extra charge). Dining: No catering service is available.

    Enjoy a stay with a ski pass included in the heart of Avoriaz at the Résidence Capella. Ideally located, close to the ski lifts and the first shops, this residence offers you privileged access to the ski area.

• Overcrowding with babies is not possible. • This accommodation is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. Avoriaz is a car-free resort. Public car parks and an underground car park located at the entrance to the resort are available for an additional fee. For the underground car park, it is recommended to book online at www.avoriazparkings.com. A shuttle service is available 24/7 to take you to your residence (additional fee applies).

The nearest French train stations are Thonon-les-Bains and Cluses (located approximately 40 km away). The Geneva Airport/Geneva Cornavin train station in Switzerland (approximately 75 km away) is also an excellent option.

  1. Travel from Paris : Take a direct or connecting TGV from Paris Gare de Lyon to Thonon-les-Bains or Cluses station (allow approximately 4h30 to 5h journey time).
  2. Connections from the train station to the accommodation :

By bus + cable car (Recommended) : From Cluses or Thonon-les-Bains train stations, regular buses (Altibus/SAT company) will take you to Morzine or directly to the foot of the Prodains cable car . The cable car then takes you up to Avoriaz in less than 5 minutes (the price of a bus ticket ranges from €10 to €15 one way).
  4. By taxi : Private shuttles and taxis operate from Cluses or Thonon train stations. The fare for a trip to the cable car or Avoriaz reception area is generally between €90 and €130.

By car:

  1. From Paris (approximately 6 hours 45 minutes by car) : Take the A6 motorway, then the A40 towards Geneva/Chamonix. Take exit 18 (Cluses) or 15 (Thonon-les-Bains). Follow signs for Taninges, then Morzine, and finally take the D338 departmental road up to Avoriaz.
  2. From Lyon (approximately 2 hours 45 minutes drive) : Take the A42 motorway, then the A40 towards Chamonix. Take exit 18 (Cluses) and follow the route via Taninges and Morzine to the resort.
⚠️ Attention – 100% pedestrian resort: Avoriaz is a completely car-free resort. You must leave your vehicle in one of the paid car parks located at the entrance to the resort (the covered car park or the outdoor car park "Prodains" or "Accueil Avoriaz"). There is no free parking in the immediate vicinity of the resort.
