After a flight over the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, you arrive at Ponta Delgada International Airport (PDL). After clearing customs, you will go to your hotel in Ponta Delgada, where you will spend your first night.
Day 1 -

Today is the day your dream becomes a reality. The fantastic Azores cruise is about to set sail. After a short drive, you'll arrive at the Vila Franca do Campo marina, where a fantastic catamaran is ready to welcome you for the next eight days. You'll be boarding a catamaran built exclusively and equipped to carry divers. This is where you'll spend the next eight days. But first, you need to learn the basics of life and diving on board; the crew will explain everything you need to know. After everything has been explained, the catamaran leaves the marina, and you head out for your first dive—a check dive—to ensure all the equipment is in order for the next day's dive.
You can dive in the morning, you can dive in the afternoon, you can dive whenever you want.

After seven days sailing in the clear waters of the Azores, it's time to return to São Miguel. And on the eighth day, you'll probably wake up in the marina you already know.
Although the dive is over, now is the perfect time to get to know São Miguel Island better. We've prepared some surface experiences to help you discover the island and the ocean.
A day trip that will match the beauty and wonder of everything you've seen underwater.
In Vila Franca do Campo, once the first capital of the Azores, you will visit the famous Queijadas da Vila factory. After tasting this renowned pastry, the tour continues to the Furnas Valley, along the shores of the romantic lagoon, where you will be surprised by the way "Cozido à Portuguesa" is cooked – in the ground.
After lunch, the group departs for the hot springs area, with its fumaroles and thermal and mineral springs, ascending to the Pico do Ferro viewpoint. There, you'll enjoy a stunning view of the crater surrounding the Furnas Valley. The tour continues along the north coast to the tea factory, the only tea plantation in Europe, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the tea plantation and the north coast while sipping a cup of tea. Returning to Ponta Delgada, a stop is made at the Santa Iria viewpoint, offering an idyllic panorama of the island's north coast.

Note
São Miguel is the largest island in the archipelago, measuring 62.1 km in length and 15.8 km at its widest point. More than half of the Azorean population lives there. Along with Santa Maria, located 81 km away, one of the islands you will visit on this cruise, São Miguel forms part of the eastern group of the Azores archipelago.

Program details
You'll embark on a catamaran built exclusively and equipped to transport divers. Typically, you'll jump into the water twice a day on this liveaboard, and the total number of dives depends on the weather, sea conditions, and, of course, the itinerary you choose for the week. But one thing you can take for granted is that the ocean is at your feet; if you love diving, dive in. The Azores archipelago has a lot to offer underwater. You have dozens of different dive sites to explore.

Option for a 3-star hotel (subject to availability) for the stay.
Other accommodation options (4-star hotels, 5-star hotels or apartments) for the stay are available - on request and subject to availability.
🚢 Sailing cruise ship - Days 2 to 8
- 4 twin cabins, each with a private bathroom - one bathroom is shared with the crew; the beds can be separated into two single beds - insertion of partitions (upon prior request). - For individual group bookings, a maximum of six guests (3 cabins). - For cruises, a group of 8 people (maximum number of guests, if it is a full charter), one of the bathrooms will be shared with the crew (Skipper, Chef, and Instructor), although this bathroom has external access, and is therefore independent of the guest's private cabin entrance. - Includes all meals, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. - Alcoholic beverages not included (available for purchase on board). - All port and marine reserve taxes are included. - All dives are included, with a 12L steel cylinder (DIN or INT) and weight belt. Double-valve cylinders are also available upon request. - 2 to 3 dives per day (depending on the weather, sailing conditions, and distances to be covered that day). - Free Wi-Fi, although limited and unavailable in some areas at sea. - Includes one set of towels (bath, beach, and hand) and one set of fresh linen for each guest. - Soap, body wash, and shampoo are provided by the hosts. There is a supermarket near the dive center. - Bring seasickness pills if you are prone to seasickness. - Although dive insurance is offered to all guests, including for all diving and sailing activities, we recommend that guests have their own dive insurance covering their specific choices and equipment types.
The electrical outlets on board are European 220 volt type C and F sockets, as well as USB charging points.
