Originally from Pico Island in the Azores , Norberto has been involved in the maritime and diving industry since 1990. For 30 years , he worked as a technician in the Oceanography and Fisheries Department at the University of the Azores , developing solid expertise in the marine environment.

In 1996 , he founded his own company dedicated to diving. A professional diver , he also holds the licenses of “Patrão de Costa” and fishing vessel captain , testifying to his extensive experience in navigation and the ocean.
